Call for Shelter Reform!

Working to End the Killing of Sheltered Pets in Carroll

FixCarroll is the first and only Carroll County, GA, coalition of animal-welfare advocates who aim to end the needless killing of companion animals at our county's municipal animal shelter.    The coalition is BY THE PEOPLE, and FOR THE PEOPLE to join together to demand reform of the county shelter to use progressive, common-sense practices to reduce the killing of healthy and treatable animals.     Killing healthy animals is a treatment that does not cure.
We cannot condemn killing with one voice while doing and defending it with another without sinking into apparent incoherence.   Animal advocates will be an effective voice for animals when our actions reflect a consistent and uncompromised respect for their lives.
